KARTMA September Updates

Hello Supporters!

Welcome to our new site!  As Downtown Streets Team's first social enterprise, we have faced many obstacles and challenges getting KARTMA off the ground, but because of the incredible generosity of supporters like YOU, all of the final pieces are falling into place:

• We have hired a former DST Team Member as our first Coffee Cart Manager! Look out for her story soon. 
• Next week we will be holding a DST-wide job fair to hire two additional DST Team Members as our first cart employees!
• KARTMA will be at the upcoming PayPal Opportunity Hack on Oct 3rd and 4th
• Indiegogo order fulfillment will be starting by the end of October!
• Our health permit application for the KARTMA push-cart has been approved by Santa Clara County, and we’re in the process of completing the final construction and inspection.
• Our Tuk Tuk has finally arrived from Thailand.  We’re working on getting it outfitted with coffee equipment and permitted … but this means we will have at least TWO KARTMA locations by the end of the calendar year

• The KARTMA website is being completed and will be live soon. 
  
• KARTMA will be in downtown San Jose by the end of October!
